BEFORE YOU REGISTER

Trial first, or register directly.

If you are new to H&L and are unsure which level is appropriate, a trial class is a good first step. Experienced dancers may also submit a registration request directly for placement review.

Class placement is based on age, readiness, prior training and teacher recommendation — not age alone.

DRESS CODE

Simple, neat and ready to dance.

H&L keeps the class dress code easy for families to follow. Specific colors and class details may vary; please ask the teacher before purchasing new dancewear.

CLASS ATTIRE

One clear standard for all classes

DancewearFitted, clean dancewear that allows full movement and lets the teacher see alignment clearly.

BottomsBallet skirt, ballet tights, or another teacher-approved option.

ShoesAppropriate ballet or dance shoes as recommended for the class.

HairHair should be secured neatly away from the face; a ballet bun is recommended when practical.

Colors & class-specific details

Please consult the teacher before purchasing. The studio will confirm any color, style, protective gear or performance-specific requirements.

03Registration Guidelines

Placement

Submitting this form is a registration request. Final class placement is confirmed by H&L Dance based on age, experience, readiness and teacher recommendation.

Tuition & payment

Tuition, payment schedule, withdrawal/refund terms and any applicable class-specific fees will be provided with the placement confirmation before enrollment is finalized.

Attendance & schedule changes

Please notify the studio at least 24 hours in advance for any absence or schedule change. Absences reported less than 24 hours in advance will be treated as a regularly scheduled class and are non-refundable. For absences due to reasonable circumstances, up to two make-up classes may be arranged per semester in an equivalent-level class, subject to class availability and teacher approval. Any other class-change arrangements also require studio confirmation.

Performances & competitions

Performance, competition, costume, travel or event fees are separate when applicable and will be communicated before participation is confirmed.

Safety

Please share relevant injuries, physical limitations or other information that may affect safe participation so instructors can teach appropriately.

Photo & video

H&L documents classes, rehearsals and performances from time to time. Media permission is selected separately below and may be declined.
